The Landmark project received a Special Mention from the Fritz Högerpreis for Brick-Architecture in the category public buildings. More than 600 projects from all over the world competed in seven different categories for the 2017 awards.

The Chicago Architecture Biennial 2017 has officially been opened during the Opening Reception on friday night, the 15th of September. Monadnock contributes to the exhibitions in the Cultural Centre with a two-piece installation on the 4th floor entitled 'Make Big Plans'. The second edition of the Biennial was curated by Sharon Johnston and Mark Lee of Los Angeles based architecture firm Johnston Marklee. It showcases the work of over 140 participants, gathered together around the invitation to ‘Make New History’, and takes place from September 16, 2017 to January 7, 2018. Photograph: Tom Harris.

Monadnock is leading one of the studios in the Architecture Foundation's masterclass 2017 with London-based David Kohn (DKA), Barcelona-based Anna Puigjaner (MAIO), alongside Marie-José Van Hee, Peter St John, Stephen Taylor, Jan Peter Wingender, Cathy Hawley, Hugh Strange and
