Monadnock has been invited to contribute to the extravagant project Book of Copies, initiated by San Rocco Magazine. The contribution consists of a selection of Circular Buildings.
"Book of Copies is a database comprised of images that may be copied in order to produce architecture. As such, Book of Copies is a receptacle of a collective form of knowledge that we can provisionally call “architecture”. Book of Copies is organized according to a precise set of rules and is produced by a multitude of producers. Book of Copies is based on an inherently derivative and collective effort, starting with the zero-degree act of accumulation of formal knowledge, namely “collecting”. The complete series of San Rocco Book of Copies in one collection of 5 volumes for a total of 4120 pages.."
The publication will be released in february 2015 and might be obtained through this link: Book of Copies

The installation of the tent-like ceiling elements means the new office for Royal Tichelaar in Makkum is taking shape. Monadnock created a new interior space within the factory building that was designed in 2006. The office, previously situated in a different location, will now have a strong connection with the production floor. In a pratical as well as a visual way. The custom made ceiling refers to tent rooms. It filters the daylight entering through the roof and hides all technical equipments.
In the town of Nieuw Bergen construction of the Landmark building has started. This project is an evolution of the 'Belfort' design which can be seen in the selected projects section of the website.
