the biennial European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies
van der Rohe Award 2017. The 40 projects were selected from 355 works nominated for the award by a jury led by UK architect Stephen Bates. Five finalists will be named next month, and the overall winner will be
announced in a ceremony on 26 May 2017 at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion

Monadnock contributes to the exhibition 'Spaces Without Drama, or surface is an illusion and so is depth' on invitation by LIGA / curators Wonne Ickx and Ruth Estevez of Productora, in The Graham Foundation, Chicago USA.The Opening will take place on the 16th of february.

Monadnock produced the spatial design of the exhibition 'Designing the Surface' in the main exhibitionspace of The New Institute (HNI) in Rotterdam. This exhbition is curated by designers Koehorst in ’t Veld and Chris Kabel. The exhibition is focussing on the celebration of the final layer, the finishing. Graphic design by OK-RM, and contributions by Lex Pott, Thomas Trum and Maxime Guyon.
