The Park Pavilion is awarded by the BNA, the Dutch Foundation for Architects, as best building of the year 2020 – category Identity and Icon. Very honored with this award.

On behalf of Professor Uwe Schröder, Monadnock is invited to provide a lecture at the faculty of architecture RWTH Aachen on recent work and strategies of design, followed by a conversation with Professor Uwe Schröder, Professor Anne-Julchen Bernardt and Professor Wim van den Berg.
On behalf of Hyukjin Kang, Associate Professor of Department of Architecture, Korea National University of Transportation, Monadnock is invited for providing a lecture on recent work.
Gabriel Lester & Monadnock collaborated on the maze-installation ’The Third Degree’ as part of the exhibition ‘We Never Sleep’ by curator Cristina Ricupero in the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The exhibition runs till January 2021.
The circular pavilion just tightly fits between the gallery walls and encloses a labirintic interior in which a chorus of haunting voices is audible, prompting questions and picking up on manipulative interrogation techniques.
The Park Pavilion is published in the new yearbook for Dutch Architecture 2019-2020, a critical selection of fine Dutch buildings, and was presented on Monday 21st of September.

Ruby Press in collaboration with Something Fantastic includes a contribution by Monadnock in their beautiful book on materials, offering a witty and inspiring overview of materials and their possiblities.
Monadnock is part of the publication ‘Identität der Architektur III. Funktion’, published by Hartwig Schneider and Uwe Schröder RWTH Aachen, with a short essay on the Landmark building in Nieuw Bergen.
